Amazon is hoping to jump start Ai Kiro’s Coding Tool by giving it a head start


Is there another way for other AI coding tools to wear on the hearts of startup founders – and past cursors, Codex, other Vibe-coding phenoms, and fribo-coding frsists like replit and lovable?

Amazon wants to try the tried and tested method and give it away for free.

The cloud giant says it will offer free early-year stations against its competitor, Kiro Pro +AWS CEO Matt Garman made the announcement during his Intnote speech at the RE:Invent 2025 Conference. These startups can get free credits for up to 100 users.

But there are limitations. Only startups that have received VC funding from pre-seed to Series B funding are eligible. US-based startups are eligible, but the offer is not available in every country. Geographical limits include France, Germany, and Italy, much of South America and, of course, the given countries. In addition, Application must be received by December 31st.
