The company has been working on features that make Alexa more than just a shopping assistant with capabilities like auto-searching and auto-purchasing. The tracker feature allows you to set alerts to alert you when an item in your cart or list drops below a certain price point. If you have also purchased automatically, Alexa can immediately order the item when it reaches the target price.
Now, Amazon says that it is turning the echo device with a screen – Echo Show 15 and 21 – into a shopping relationship with a “shopping” interface.

The screen will also release the search to see other products and add items directly to the cart and then check out.
To access the new experience, Amazon users can say “Alexa, where are my things?” or “go shopping.” Soon, the Shopping widget will be available to add to the home screen of the echo system.
Another new feature rolling out now will allow owners of Alexa locations to add items to upcoming shipments at any time until they reach the warehouse. It builds on features that have recently been added to retail websites and apps, so it’s not necessarily Alexa+ expert exclusive, but the feature remains on remote devices.
Alexa+ also gets the ability to recommend gifts. You will be able to describe who you are shopping for, or the occasion, and Alexa + will display product suggestions on the screen, organized into categories.
Amazon says Alexa+ is now available to “tens of millions” of customers, and the new features are live for users in the US and Canada.
