Summer House‘s Amand is spilling all the details about their split Kyle Cooke.
Batula, 34, was grilled separation from the couple during an interview Tuesday, February 3 a Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohenafter the couple announced they were separating last month.
host Andy Cohen asked Batula if there was “a final straw” that led to her and Cooke, 43, ending their four-year marriage, to which she replied, “No.”
As for whether the exes have a prenuptial agreement, Batula was surprisingly candid.
“No,” she he said. “Do I regret it? Yes. Everyone needs a prenuptial agreement. We’ll be fine, but still, it couldn’t have been right.”
Cohen then suggested that Batula might deserve “a slice of Loverboy,” Cooke’s brand of sparkling hard teas and cocktails.
Batula replied, “That’s his baby. That’s his bread and butter. That man has worked harder on this business than on our relationship. I’m fine.”
The Bravolebrity also opened up about her relationship with Cooke now after splitting last fall, earlier BravoCon.
“Great,” she said. “We just got ours (Summer house season 10) premiere party. He gave me a very sentimental cry. I had many people in tears. There’s still a lot of love.”
Batula confirmed that she and Cooke still talk “several times a week,” prompting Cohen, 57, to ask if there’s any chance the pair could get back together.
“It doesn’t matter what happens. It’s up to us,” he replied. “So, yeah, it could happen, it couldn’t. Right now, probably not.”
Batula and Cooke announced their split in a statement on Instagram on January 19.
“After much consideration, we have mutually and amicably decided to separate as a couple,” the former couple said. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support as we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
Days later, a source explained exclusively Us Weekly that relationship problems between the reality stars had been building for months.
“They were having ongoing issues all summer and decided to split in the fall,” the source said.
According to the source, Batula was concerned that Cooke, who is a DJ, was still “staying out late and partying like he was in his 20s, and didn’t understand her needs after several conversations.”
“She felt senseless and emotionally drained,” the source said weadding that the couple “realized they’re on different pages and don’t want the same things in life anymore.”
In a Jan. 22 TikTok video shared by the “Hollywood Raw” podcast host. Adam Glyn, Cooke talked about the breakup.
“I think people will be surprised but also happy to see that Amanda and I are in a good place,” he said. “Obviously, the Internet will do its thing, but you know, we literally pushed shipping.”
“It’s a lot to swallow when your whole relationship from the beginning is on TV. So we knew it wasn’t going to be easy,” she added.
Although fans noticed the pair had been living apart since late last year, Cooke said they were “not ready to talk about it”.
“We didn’t lie to each other. We didn’t break up, we didn’t break up. We were trying to figure out the best way to give our relationship another shot. And ultimately, we decided that we don’t want to give each other false hope, we don’t want to give our friends and family false hope, we don’t want to give fans false hope. We were very much on the same page where we knew we needed to create a space… That’s not a big surprise.”
