Amand and newcomer Ben Waddell raised eyebrows during the Summer House season 10 premiere as they gave their housemates the lowdown on their NSFW hookup.
“We met at a wedding in Italy last year,” Ben, 38, told his new housemates about his relationship with Amanda, 34, and her then-husband. Kyle Cookeduring the Tuesday, February 3, episode of the Bravo series. (Amanda and Kyle, 43, confirmed this in January they left it aside after four years of marriage, months after season 10 was filmed.)
Ben, who is from Australia, explained that it was “the two of us, basically,” referring to him and Amanda as he let out a nervous laugh.
Amanda also laughed as she grabbed something from the fridge, making it look like something scandalous happened between them in Europe. Kyle was also making a naughty face next to Ben as he continued to explain their first meeting.

“We were up. Yeah, we stayed,” Ben said, blushing at what happened during that first meeting. Amanda teased, “That was great.” Ben then confirmed, “We had a good time.”
West Wilson then he asked what everyone in the kitchen was wondering, “Did you go to an orgy or something?”
A season 10 rookie companion Bailey Taylor he replied, “It seemed.”
Amanda then broke her silence surrounding the mystery of her and Ben meeting, telling the cameras: “Ben and I met at my best friend’s wedding in Italy while we were skinny.”

Courtesy of Ben Waddell/InstagramShe let out an awkward laugh during her confessional. “How can I explain this?” Amanda wondered before revealing: “We ended up, me, the girlfriend and Ben, skinny dipping in the pool while Kyle blew up a speaker walking around the outside of the pool.”
Amanda cheekily added, “At that point we really got to know each other, completely naked.”
Back in the kitchen, Jesse Solomon I was in total shock from the cute confession. “Have you seen Amanda’s breasts?” he asked in a puzzled tone. “I haven’t even seen them!”
Amanda jokingly replied, “It’s that European water,” as she smiled at the group.
West, 31, shook his head in disbelief, while Jesse, 32, let out another laugh. Meanwhile, Ben smiled as he stood at the end of the kitchen island.
while Kyle seemed totally fine with Amanda and Ben’s intimate backstory, the issue of his then-wife revealing all about another man seemed to turn it on later in the episode.
During the group’s first summer party, a “County Fair” theme hosted by West, Independence Day ended in a blowout and a fight between the married couple.
When the party was over, most of the sharehouse crew jumped into the pool after showering themselves with dessert.

“Wait! Amanda’s naked,” West said the swimwear designer began to enter the pool. “Your breasts are so out, it’s kind of crazy,” she said as Amanda approached the group at the end.
As Ben handed Amanda a towel as she got out of the water, Kyle, who was also in the pool in his red, white and blue shorts, noticed how scantily clad his partner was.
“Amanda, did you go naked?” Kyle asked, visibly upset.
“No, I have clothes,” he explained.

Kyle called Amanda’s actions “absurd”, while he worried if he was “crazy” about her for the incident.
“It would have been fun if you, like, told me you were getting skinny,” Kyle said before Amanda chimed in and reminded him that they were “all in the pool together.”
Jesse tried to ease the tension, yelling, “Kyle, you can strip too!”
Amanda was still processing Kyle’s earlier comment, asking, “Did I have to tell you?” and seemed visibly confused by what was happening.

“You were the topless one,” Kyle joked. Amanda replied, “I’m not topless.” Kyle, however, wasn’t listening and started for the house, saying under his breath, “Just amazing.”
In the preview for the rest of the season, Kyle and Amanda’s marital problems it’s still front and center, and Amanda’s hookup with Ben doesn’t seem to improve things.
In a clip from the trailer, Amanda is seen running her hands through Ben’s hair as they chat in her and Kyle’s room.
“Amanda can walk into a room and light it up with her smile,” Ben says in the video, which prompts Amanda to smile at him from the group’s dining room table.
Ben’s comment also prompts Bailey to say, “Ben definitely wants to sleep with you!”
