The emotion for Super Bowl LX 2026 is reaching a fever pitch after three new artists were announced ahead of the show.
In December 2025, the NFL announced Charlie Puth will sing the national anthem before the game, while Brandi Carlile will perform “America the Beautiful.” Coco Jones is also scheduled to sing a performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” before the monumental showdown.
“Super Bowl Sunday is the biggest entertainment stage in the world and we’re proud to highlight artists who embody the best in music and culture.” Jon Barkersenior vice president of global event production for the NFL, shared in a statement. “These artists bring a distinct voice to the moment, helping set the tone for a day that will captivate fans around the world.”
Meanwhile, Bad Bunny is ready to take the stage of the Iconic halftime show.
“What I feel is beyond myself,” Bad Bunny said in a statement in September 2025 after he was announced as the Super Bowl halftime performer. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown … this is for my people, my culture and our history. Go tell your grandma, we’ll be the SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW.”
Bad Bunny, Puth, Carlile and Jones will be joined by American Sign Language interpreters Fred Beam i Julian Ortizalong with the Puerto Rican Sign Language interpreter Celimar Rivera Cosme.

Bad Bunny

In September 2025, the NFL revealed it Bad Bunny would headline the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show. The rapper said in a statement that what he “feels goes beyond myself.”
“It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown … this is for my people, my culture and our history,” he said at the time. “Come and tell your grandma, that we will be the HALFTIME SHOW OF THE SUPER BOWL.”
While Bad Bunny fans were excited by the news, some conservative commentators complained that the rapper was not “American” and a singer who performs almost entirely in Spanish. (Bad Bunny is from Puerto Rico, a territory of the United States. Puerto Ricans are American citizens.)
Bad Bunny addressed the controversy during his Saturday night live monologue in October 2025.
“You may not know this, but I’m doing the Super Bowl halftime show. I’m very happy and I think everyone is happy about it. Even Fox News,” he joked. “Seriously, I’m really excited to do the Super Bowl and I know the people around the world who love my music are happy too.”

The “See You Again” singer will perform the national anthem during the 2026 Super Bowl pre-show.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this … I’m going to perform the national anthem at Super Bowl LX.” Charlie Puth wrote via Instagram alongside the video of him telling a group of football players how the “Star Spangled Banner” is “harder to sing” vocally.

The “ICU” singer will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
