Calls grew on Thursday for Portugal’s February 8 presidential runoff to be postponed after storm Leonardo caused deadly flooding, evacuations and severe disruption in parts of the country, but electoral authorities insisted the runoff would go ahead as scheduled despite concerns about security and access for some voters.
