Grigor Dimitrov was left in tears while he was forced to hurt injured as he led Jannik sinner for two sets to miss Wimbledon’s quarterfinals.
The 34-year-old marched on the case 6-3 7-5 while threatening to carry the world no. 1, before he fell to the floor in a visible discomfort with the result of 2-2 in the third set.
Sinner was first on his hand to hurry to his colleague, with Dimitrova who separated the right furnace before helping his chair.
He eventually left the further examination court before he later returned a few minutes, directly handling an error that marked the end of his challenge.
