BBCAn American Israeli man who was captured by Hamas tells the BBC that the US President Donald Trump has the power to ensure release of Gaza remains.
Keith Siegel, 66, kidnapped from Kibbutz Kfar Aza during Israeli attack in the past 484 days under a stop before the broker.
He was taken with his wife, Aviva, held for 51 days before being released by a first cease.
Mr Seegel told a meeting between the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and President Trump on the White House on Monday night.
In an interview with Tel Aviv, he thanked Trump to ensure his own release and say that the President can also do the same for the remaining 50 hostages, up to 20 beliefs alive.
“I believe that he has a great strength, power and ability to pressure on those who need to be forced, on both sides to get the deal and bring it to the war,” he said.
Trump says he hopes a new stop stop and hostage agreement to release this week, but it appears that there are still important gaps between Israel and Hamas.

RabauseMr. Seegel described the clear detail of how Hamas members beat and scorned him, and said he was smiling at a woman who he had witnessed.
He said Hamas operatives moved him to the streets of Gaza, sometimes during the day, until 33 different locations during his captivity.
If asked if he supported an agreement releasing hostages but saw Hamas staying power in Gaza, he replied: “This is the most priority and urgent to get all 50 hostages as soon as possible.”
But he continued: “We will not allow humas to be threatened by humans and killing and killing people, and I think people are responsible for death on both sides.”
The Hamas-Run Health Healm Ministry of Gaza says that more than 57,000 people were killed there because Israel launched a military operation in response to Israel and where about 251 people were killed in the 251 hostage.
I asked Mr Siegel, as he continued to campaign for releasing the remaining hostages, if his thoughts also focused on the suffering of the Gazan population.
“I believe peace and security for all people and freedoms … basic human rights to each person,” he said.
“I think it’s the responsibility of all leadership to make sure that happens. Any innocent person who is hurt or killed something I hoped or I was dreaming not to happen.”
