Qantas contacted customers after a cyber attacks their third party customer clatform.
On 30 June, the Australian Airline found “unusual activity” on a platform used in the contact center to store the data of six million people, email numbers, frequent flyer numbers.
In detecting violation, Qantas took “immediate steps and included the system”, according to a statement.
The company further inspects the whole breach, but says it is looking forward to the proportion of data stolen “important”.
It assures the public that Passport details, credit card details and personal financial information are not held in the broken system, and the passwords of the Passwords or Passwords or Numbers of Passwords or Passwords.
Qantas announced the Australian Federal Police in violation, as well as the Cyber Security Center and Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
