It We were liar End of the first season, entitled “My friends are lying on the sun”, left the door open for more information from the Sinclair family. However, a possible second season would not follow the cadence, as its story has ended since.

Summer 17, Cadence begins to gather the night of the fire, initially realizing that he left the family’s dogs in the house while burning. After a conversation with Harris, he recalls that the beloved pets were not the only things that died on the fire.
The liars had just told Cadence what happened, revealing that it was the only one who made the fire left alive. That is, he has been talking to the ghosts of Johnny, Mirren and Gat all summer.

The rest of the episode takes place in summer 17, as Cadence says its farewells to the ghosts of liars one by one. Now he recalls, they can cross -to the other side.
