The new global strategy from the World Network will see the World Cup held every two years instead of four after the Sydney tournament.
Men Netball World Cup will also be familiar with how the ruling body works on the development and provision of international events in their new chapter.
Australia are current world champions, beaten by English 61-45 in 2023. years, in which the first finals of the World Rose Cup.
Changes also see the introduction of the Cup and competition in the tile to increase engagements, as well as launching a new biennial event from November 2028. years, which will take place in the years of the Non-World Cup.
The goal is to ensure that the international event in the world class takes place every year, so the best players can compete to each other to build rivalry, expand the reach and open the new market.

Speaking of these developments, the CEO of World Netball (VN) Fiona Harold said: “International Netball was never more competitive, but the landscape becomes all complex to navigate.
“VN should support its members and to submit solutions that all means in ecosystem benefits.
“We also absolutely need to be proactive about future isoloposes, given the uncertainty about Commonwealth Games Post 2026.
“These decisions allow us to control our destiny and it is a positive news for all. As an international federation, our job is to maintain and grow in the long run.”
Harold hopes that these changes will help Netball to get involved in the Olympics for the first time.

“Although world netball will always remain proud of sports traditions, we must not host them,” Harold added.
“Our sport is open for everything, and now it feels like a real time to give a clear statement about the men’s game, which quickly gets for a moment.
“The obvious feedback of many stakeholders in the game is that it is a really positive step, especially as we continue to strive and build our case on the inclusion of the Olympic Games.
“I enjoyed living men’s netball groups over the last few months and we will continue to cooperate with them to help them understand their dreams that happens in the next few years in the next few years.”
The World Fast5 Netball series, which is an annual international competition that contains faster, shorter version of the game, will stop for it for so far.
