Virginia Police found alligator outside motel

Fairfax County’s police department, located in the US state in Virginia, responded to a caller reporting to see an alligator early in the morning.

The reptile is located outside a motel 20 minutes only south of Washington DC.

The BBC police said they specified the owner brings the alligator from New York to a North Carolina Zoo if escaped.

Due to a Virginia Code prohibiting possession of some non-native, exotic animals, alligator and its owner has been removed from County, said officials.
