A group of 10 Ghana MPs resubmits a controversial bill that will impose some of the hardest restrictions of LGBT rights in Africa.
The bill prescribed a three-year term in prison for people who indicate such as gay, and five to 10 years for advocates and sponsors.
Legislation was passed by Parliament last year, but the former President, Akufo Addo, refused to sign this law before leaving the office in January, Discuss legal challenges.
It is widely condemned by local and international human rights groups, with some describes it as a Draconian.
The original bill has expired at the end of the previous Parliament. It is unclear if the speaker of the new parliament will claim the bill for consideration.

The potential impact of Ghana’s economic bill is an important concern.
The former financial minister warned that the passing bill could result in Ghana to lose $ 3.8bn (£ 2.9bn) in the IMF program.
The opposition legislator John Ntim Fordjour told reuters in the country that no longer needed to fear economic penalties, referring to the US Donald Trump presidential elections.
