Bolivia bus crash kills at least 37 people


At least 37 people were killed and 30 left injured after two passenger buses collided with Bolivia, police said.

The crash occurred early Saturday about 5km (3 miles) from the South-Western City of Uyuni.

One of the drivers received intensive care while others were in a steady state, Commander Commander Wilson Flores said.

Bolivian media images showed a badly damaged coach with bodywork losing body and baggage scattering along the road.

The buses collided with the route between Uyuni and Colchani in the Potosí Department of Bolivia after a “passage”, reported to local media.

According to the local media, CDR Flores said police await the results of alcohol tests taken by drivers.
