Sudan military plane crashes Omdurman killing over 40


At least 46 people were killed and 10 were injured after the Sudanese military plane was dropped in a residential neighborhood of Omdurman, the capital city of Khartoum, said by the state media.

The plane built in Russia Antonov went down after taking from Wadi Seidna Air based on Military Tuesday night.

The cause of the crash, which killed military and civilian officials, not clear – but military sources were quoted as a technical malfunction.

The crash comes in a day after paraadar rapid support (RSF) – which is in the Army War – says it is a leader jet in South Darfur.

The conflict destroys many parts of Sudan – including Khartoum and Omdurman – with thousands of people killed and about 12 million transferred.

Health is said that emergency teams rushes injured civilians, including children, at a nearby hospital after a plane crash on Tuesday.
