Kevin FrankeThe ex -husband of Ruby appeared in an audience for the Business, Workers’ Committee of the Chamber in Utah on Tuesday, February 18, where he read a statement on behalf of his 11 -year -old daughter, for The Salt Lake Tribune. (Kevin and Ruby share the children Shari, Chad, Abby, Julie, Russell and Eve.)
“I thought nothing was going wrong,” he read the 11 -year statement. “I felt” happy “but really wasn’t. When I started aging, I realized that the YouTube channel had ruined my childhood. But at least I have money, right? Ah, I didn’t, Because my mother withdrew it all in 2023. I worked hard for this money.
His statement continued: “You could all say right now that my father told me to say these things and use me, but this is not true. If someone uses their children, youtubers shoot them for money.”
Kevin was at the committee’s meeting in support of a state bill that would economically protect children’s influential and the profits they would earn through the content of their parents. The bill would require online creators to gain more than $ 150,000 annually content with children to set aside some of the income in a confidence that children can access when they are 18 years old.

But now, without even realizing -I am looking for the attention of others, or I feel like they do not like them. Then these people think I’m meaning. “”
He added that he hoped that the bill would keep “the safest Utah’s children”, adding that he knows “more” than “the horrible situation there are many children at the moment.”
Kevin also read a statement from his 16 -year -old daughter, who said that “as children, you do not realize what you are subjected to” when talking about being at the helm and in the center of his mother’s YouTube channel .
Ruby was convicted of children’s abuse and sentenced to four consecutive prison sentences in February 2024, ranging from one up to 15 years each.
“You are selling your life, your privacy, your body and your stories around the world,” continued the 16 -year statement. “And as a child, you are involuntarily giving up all this. You are selling your childhood. Although there is no amount of money that can mean this loss, what can be done less now is to say that the child is paid for his work and has the right to eliminate and move away if he wants. “”
