US government workers received an email on Saturday afternoon that they were asked to list their achievements from last week or withdrawing Trump administration efforts.
The email arrived after billionaire Trump Confidante Elon Musk tweeted that employees “unacceptable an email requesting to understand what they have done last week”.
“Failure to answer will be taken as a resignation,” he wrote.

In a copy of the email obtained by the BBC, employees were asked to explain their achievements from last week to five bullet points – before midnight.
The message does not mention if a failure to respond may be considered a resignation.
