Giddish, which is reincorporated into the SUV cast for season 27 as Sergkeeant Amanda Rollins, talked about meeting Richards while chatting with today on February 9, 2026.
While she didn’t share the exact date she and Richards met, she did share a glimpse of when she knew their relationship had changed, which began when he was working as a driver.
“We became friends and then it turned into something romantic,” she said at the time. “We still work there and sneak in for lunch now and then. We can talk about our day.”

Kelli Giddish and Beau Richards met while filming Law and order: Special Victims Unit. Giddish recalled meeting Richards while working as his driver during a January 2026 episode today.
“He was actually my driver at the time,” she said. “We became friends and then it turned into something romantic. We still work there and occasionally sneak out for lunch. We can talk about our day,” she added. Giddish also joked that their lunches on set are “very romantic.”

Giddish joked that her three boys are comparable to WWE superstars. “I counted the balls in my living room and stopped at 22,” he laughed. “There are two basketball goals in my living room.”

Beau Richards still works as a member of the SUV case Giddish shared that she and he “actually sneak out to lunch every once in a while” on set, joking that their get-togethers are “very romantic.”
