You have all these kids watching the Super Bowl and he doesn’t have to grab himself every five seconds because he’s so insecure. Seriously.”
She continued, “I don’t speak Spanish, I wish I knew the words he was saying. To me, it felt like a political statement because there were literally no white people in the whole thing. I’m not taking sides, one way or the other… I think it was an ICE thing. I think the NFL sold out and it’s very sad.”
Zarin also targeted Bad Bunny’s guest performer, Lady Gagawithin his critique of the show. “Lady Gaga, she washed her face, I didn’t recognize her, I literally had to google her face to see who it was because we all couldn’t agree on who it was. It was kind of funny at halftime, at least it gave us something to do because it was so hard to see,” he said.
Armstrong conveyed his own perspective through a Instagram story which saw her replace the head of Russell Crowehe is enraged gladiator character with own photo. “Were you entertained? Shame on the NFL and Apple for the all-Spanish Super Bowl halftime show with a Cuban flag!!” err on the side of the image.
