president donald trump said he is directing “all federal law enforcement” to support the search Savannah Guthrie‘s missing mother, Nancy Guthrie.
“I spoke with Savannah Guthrie and let her know that I am directing ALL federal law enforcement to be available to the family and local law enforcement IMMEDIATELY,” the 79-year-old president shared via his Social Truth platform Wednesday afternoon, February 4.
He continued: “We are deploying every resource to bring her mother home safely. Our nation’s prayers are with her and her family. GOD BLESS AND PROTECT NANCY!”
Wednesday before NBC news reported that Trump had called Savannah, 54, to offer support to state and federal law enforcement.

Trump told him today show the cohost that he knew how close Savannah is to her mother and assured Savannah’s family that he would provide all the necessary resources in the ongoing investigation, according to NBC. Savannah would have thanked the president for his support.
Nancy, 84, was reported missing by a family member around noon on Sunday, Feb. 1, after he failed to show up at his church in Arizona. The Guthrie matriarch was last seen at her home outside of Tucson on Saturday, January 31.
Savannah and her siblings, annie i Cameron Guthrie, shared an emotional video via Instagram on Wednesday calling for Nancy’s safe return.
“On behalf of our family, we want to thank you all for your prayers for our dear mother, Nancy. We feel them and continue to believe that she feels them too,” Savannah said. “Our mother is a kind, faithful, loyal, fiercely loving, kind and bright woman. She is funny, waltzing and smart. She has grandchildren who adore her and crowd around her and cover her with kisses. She loves fun and adventure. She is a devoted friend. She is full of kindness and knowledge. Talk to her and you will see.”
“Nancy is our mother, we are her children. She is our beacon,” said Annie. “She clings to joy and all circumstances in life. She chooses joy day after day despite going through great trials of pain and sorrow. We will always be just human. Just normal human people who need our mom. Mom, if you’re listening, we need you to come home. We miss you.”
Savannah also hinted ransom note reports sent to several media outlets, including TMZ, earlier this week.
“We have also heard the reports about a bailout letter in the media,” the reporter said. “As a family, we are doing everything we can. We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated. We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her. We want to hear you and we are willing to hear you. Please contact us.”
She concluded, “Mom, if you’re listening to this, you’re a strong woman. You’re God’s precious daughter, Nancy. We believe and know that even in this valley, He’s with you. Everyone’s looking for you, Mom, everywhere. We won’t rest. Your children won’t rest until we’re together again. We talk to you every moment. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said Wednesday they have not identified a suspect in the case after an unverified report that Savannah’s brother-in-law and Annie’s husband, Tommaso Cioniwas a potential suspect.
“At this time, investigators have not identified any suspects or persons of interest in this case. Detectives are continuing to speak with anyone who may have had contact with Ms. Guthrie,” a police department statement said. “Detectives are working closely with the Guthrie family. While we appreciate the public’s concern, sharing unverified allegations or false information is irresponsible and does not help the investigation. No suspects or persons of interest have been identified at this time.”
