Couple of influencers Matt i Abby Howard they become honest about their finances.
Matt and Abby, both 27, addressed fans’ guesses in a real-time Q&A during the Wednesday, Feb. 4, episode of their “Unplannedpodcast One person wrote to the podcasters: “You guys are crazy rich, like billionaires.”
“We have a lot of money,” Abby admitted, adding, “God, we’re in a time of blessing… There are people who are richer than us.”
Matt chimed in addressing his fans: “You guys made us rich, can we be honest about that? This would never have happened without the boys.”
Abby continued: “The word ‘rich’ has a very negative connotation. Growing up, I didn’t really like that word and I didn’t really like the people I labeled that way. We’re making more money than I ever thought we would.”
Matt noted that they initially thought their podcast would only bring them “side money, maybe.”
“We couldn’t have done it without you,” he added of his success.
“It’s something that we’re very grateful for every day, and it’s also a huge responsibility that we’re generous with,” Abby noted.
Abby also clarified that the “estimates” about her net worth online “are not correct.”
“I feel like money is very taboo, but I also want to be real,” Abby concluded.

Matt and Abby married in 2019 and welcomed sons Griffin and August in 2022 and 2023, respectively. The couple rose to fame by sharing marriage and parenthood videos on YouTube, where they have more than 8 million followers, and TikTok, where they have 5.3 million followers. Matt and Abby released “Unplanned” in 2023.
Content creators have been recently too honest about a pregnancy loss they lived last year.
“It is with a very heavy heart that we share the loss of our baby girl born too soon,” Abby, who was around 17 weeks into her pregnancy, announced via Instagram in September 2025. “At a routine pregnancy appointment, our doctor did not find a heartbeat. Soon after we were sent for an ultrasound where the technician will never forget to say, “we never hear it. news”.
Abby continued: “That’s when we got the gender reveal we never expected, and also the news that our baby had a genetic condition that took his life at around 17 weeks gestation.”
Matt and Abby reflected in the loss during a December 2025 episode of his podcast.
“I think we’ve had relatively good lives and two or three years ago I remember having this conversation with you about, like, ‘Wow, things have gone so well,'” Matt said. “It was, like, ‘What could possibly go wrong?’ I feel like that was the thing (that was) for us.”
She continued, “It really changed my perspective, like, it’s really sad how…horrible this world can be. It’s really hard to work through it with your spouse, but we’re getting through it and things are better.”
