Rachel Zoe reveals what pushed her to file for divorce on RHOBH


Rachel Zoe revealed the last straw of his marriage with Roger Berman during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15

“Okay, so … I filed for divorce this morning,” Rachel, 54, revealed during the new episode of the Bravo show, which aired on Thursday, January 29. “Just a typical day.”

Rachel explained that “it’s not one thing” that brought her officially pull the plugbut rather “an infinite number of bad decisions that have been made over the last month, the last few weeks, the last fucking hour that would move things forward for me.”

A previously unaired scene filmed at Zoe’s dinner from last week’s episode the confident fashion designer showed off Erika Jayne because of something Rodger had done.

“So you know my ex has this girlfriend, right? She’s never met the kids. My kids are leaving, about to get on a plane to go camping. She literally shows up,” Rachel stated. “She’s there with him and she comes up and says hello to my kids. What the hell.”

Rachel and Rodger were together for 24 years before announcing in September 2024 that they had decided to separate. Rachel filed for divorce in July 2025. (The former couple share two children, Skyler, 14, and Kaius, 12. Rodger went public with the stylist Bree Jacoby in September 2025).

She continued, “I actually thought the whole mediation was so that this wasn’t, like, a very loud public thing. Thank God the kids are at camp. I mean, can you imagine if the boys weren’t at camp?”

Rachel was then filmed on a conference call with her team about the news being made public, noting that it was “so crazy” to see the headlines.

“I have no marriage to my ex,” Rachel said in her confessional. “I don’t want to give spousal support and I don’t want to get spousal support. I think this is a fresh start and if we’re going our separate ways and living separate lives with separate people, I don’t see why I should pay for that. Or he should pay mine.”

Rachel Zoe is on the mend with a little help from her friends. Rachel offered more details about her decision to split from Rodger earlier in the season.

“There are many reasons why our relationship was strained. In retrospect, if I had to say a big regret,” he said during the RHOBA season 15 premiere last month “My biggest regret would probably be working together.”

Fans watched their marriage and business relationship come together on Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project, which ran from 2008 to 2013.
