Bruce Springsteen is bringing his new song to the Minneapolis crowd, criticizing US President Donald Trump’s ongoing immigration enforcement efforts in the city.

In a statement, Springsteen said he wrote and recorded the song over the weekend and released it in response to a second fatal attack by federal immigration agents in Minneapolis.
“Dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretty and Renee Good,” he wrote, referring to the two victims.
White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson responded: “The Trump administration is focused on encouraging state and local Democrats to work with federal law enforcement officials to remove dangerous criminals from their communities — not random rants about irrelevant comments and misinformation.”
