A young Tunisian man embarks on a personal journey to find his biological mother and understand where he came from.
Twenty-one-year-old Moez El Shreti was abandoned at birth by his Tunisian mother but is absolutely determined to find out where he came from. His quest takes him on a roller-coaster journey to find answers to the question that dominates his young life. This observational film, with all its obstacles and sometimes painful searches, goes to courts and hospitals to try to get official records. The whole process often frustrates Moez and takes an emotional toll on him, but he finds ways to cope with music, the support of close friends and the help of a “psychodrama” group. His foster family and community activists hold him against the odds as he searches for the answer to a burning question deep within him.
