The video showed the Bengals quarterback tickling the ivories on an all-white piano, dressed in shorts, a T-shirt, a hat and sunglasses. Burrow began playing piano in the 2024 offseason while recovering from wrist surgery. That June, he told the media that he learned to play by watching YouTube videos.

“I’m learning the piano right now, hopefully I can be pretty good at it next offseason,” he said. complex in July 2024. “I guess it’s going to be pretty tough during the season, but it’s also helped me with the rehab for my wrist, so it’s something I want to be good at.”
He added: “I’ve always wanted to learn how to play, but this was an opportune time to work on my hand and wrist dexterity while learning about it. So it was kind of the perfect storm.”
This offseason, Burrow is just trying to stay healthy after missing nine additional games in 2025 with grass tip. The Bengals limped to a 6-11 record and missed the playoffs for the third straight year.
Although Burrow is under contract in Cincinnati through the 2029 season, the Bengals’ roster has plenty of holes that the team will need to fill in the coming months. With more than $55 million available in cap space, the team can afford to go on a spending spree to try and assemble a championship team around the two-time Pro Bowler.
Burrow has made it clear he expects the reception to be aggressive.
“This is of paramount importance,” Burrow said at the team’s final 2025 postgame press conference. “You have to identify where you’re weak and find a way to be strong in that area. That’s the NFL year after year. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. You have to attack that period with the intention of getting better.”
Even aside from football and piano, Burrow has long been known for his wide-ranging interests. He is also fascinated by fossils, even giving away dinosaurs, bears and mammoths fossils in their offensive line for Christmas
He talked about his interest in season 2 of the Netflix series The quarterbackwhich debuted in 2024.
“When you don’t have fossils on your mind?” Burrow said in the episode. “They go back millions of years. That’s sick.”
“We went to the Natural History Museum,” Burrow continued. “They took us behind the scenes and showed us some really cool stuff. It’s like a fossil library that they don’t show everyone.”
He added: “It’s like going to a shoe store, and they’re like, ‘Maybe we have it in the back.’ And it was, like, all the fossils in the back. It was pretty sick.”
