Professional snowboarder Shaun White he pulled off a reckless stunt that saw him fly over the comedian’s head Shane Gillis.
In social networks fan images shared on Sunday, January 25, White, 39, was seen snowboarding through powdery terrain in New York City’s Central Park before launching himself into the air and over a seated Gillis, 38.
“Only in New York,” read a caption on the wild Instagram video. After White, a three-time Olympic gold medalist, nailed his stunt, the video showed him shaking hands with Gillis as the visibly amused comedian held a can of beer.
Additional footage showed White doing a somersault as the crowd that had gathered to see the makeshift snowfield cheered him on.

Gillis shared a photo of the day via his Instagram feed on Sunday, capturing another moment where White flew over him and his. tires to cost Chris O’Connor as the couple huddled together and smiled.
White and O’Connor shared a joint Instagram video that captured the second sensational moment.
The video comes as the countdown for the 2026 Winter Olympics continue White, who retired from professional snowboarding in 2022, will serve as broadcaster for NBC Sports. (The global sporting event begins on Friday, February 6 and runs through Sunday, February 22.)
