AJ McLean’s divorced woman Rochelle DeAnna McLean is sharing a warning with followers after being unexpectedly hospitalized.
publication through his Instagram account On Friday, January 23, Rochelle, 44, shared a selfie from her hospital bed as she detailed a scary health experience she endured this week.
“It’s been a week of hell here!” he captioned the post. “I came to the ER Tuesday morning with an extremely swollen belly and pain on the right side of my abdomen. Thinking it was my appendix, I came to the ER to make sure. It ended up showing a cecal volvulus on the CT scan. A twisted pinched colon.”
She continued: “I basically went straight into surgery after that to remove the compromised part of my colon and sew the healthy sections back together. Really something I would enjoy.
I hadn’t even heard of it.”
Almost a year after announcing their split, AJ McLean and his wife, Rochelle McLean, are calling it quits for good. After the confronting experience, Rochelle urged her followers to trust their instincts when it comes to their own health.
“All I can say is listen to your body when something doesn’t feel right. If this had gone on longer and gone untreated, the outcome could have been very different,” she wrote. “Hopefully I can make it home tonight! Take care out there 🤍 And also… Big thanks to the surgeons, doctors and nurses who took such good care of me this week! My hero 🤩🤍✨”
Rochelle’s fans rushed to her comments section to send their well wishes.
“Oh man! Glad you’re ok, how scary. Prayers for a healthy recovery love. 🙏🏽,” wrote one, while another added: “Wow. I’m so glad you listened to your body! Sending lots of love, positive thoughts and healing prayers 🥰”

At the time of their separation, the separated couple said through a statement to we that they hoped their separation would be temporary.
“Marriage is hard, but worth it. We have mutually decided to separate temporarily to work on ourselves and our marriage in hopes of building a stronger future,” the statement read.
“The plan is to get back together and continue to nurture our love for each other and our family.”
They continued: “We ask for respect and privacy at this time. Separation is hard enough without the comment, please be kind and remember there are children involved.”
