Brooklyn Beckham’s claims about the rights to his name being taken away are explained

David and Victoria Beckham applied for the trademarks when each of their four children were minors. (As of January 2026, Harper is the only one under 18.)

“This is a misunderstanding of the position,” said a source close to the Beckhams Us Weekly in January 2026. “Of course, a parent or adult would do the original filing if the person was a child at the point they needed to register.
