‘Secret’ ICE memo allows agents to forcibly enter homes without a judge’s warrant




An internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) memo states that officers can now forcefully enter people’s homes even without a judge’s warrant — despite a 1980 Supreme Court ruling that found home entry violates the Fourth Amendment against “unreasonable searches and seizures” and would therefore be unconstitutional.
