US President Donald Trump gave a speech at the Davos forum in which he based his desire to take over Greenland on the fact that it was once owned by the US and “given” to Denmark after World War II. But as FRANCE 24’s Douglas Herbert reminds us, that is historically incorrect. Trump also once again implied a false equivalence between Ukraine and Russia, “ignoring that Russia is the aggressor that attacked Ukraine.”
