EU lawmakers are delaying a trade deal with the US in protest over Trump’s Greenland ambitions




The European Parliament is suspending work on the EU-US trade agreement signed by US President Donald Trump and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen last July, the chairman of the parliamentary trade committee, Bernd Lange, said on Wednesday. Lange said Trump’s threat of tariffs on European nations countered by his demands to take ownership of Greenland broke the deal.
