Brooklyn Beckham says Victoria “danced inappropriately” at his wedding


Brooklyn Beckham is opening up about her family feud in a scathing statement on social media that hit out at her parents, Victoria Beckham i David Beckham.

Brooklyn, 26, took to Instagram on Monday, January 19, claiming, among other things, that his mother danced inappropriately with him on his wedding day with Nicola Peltz Beckham.

“My mom hijacked my first dance with my wife, which was planned weeks before to a romantic love song,” he alleged in the posts, shared via his Instagram stories. “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where I was scheduled for a romantic dance with my wife, but instead my mother was waiting to dance with me. Brooklyn also claimed that Victoria, 51, suddenly refused to make a wedding dress for Nicola, 31, just ahead of her 2022 nuptials, forcing the bride to find an alternative dress at the 11th hour.

He continued: “All my life, my parents have controlled the narratives in the press about our family. Performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a component of the life I was born into. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths they will go to put countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of their own people, at the expense of preserving the truth. It always comes out.”

Us Weekly reps for both David and Victoria have been contacted for comment.

In October, a source exclusively said Us Weekly that Brookyln “had no interest” in reconciling with his family.

“Brooklyn has no interest in fixing things at this point,” the insider said at the time. “He’s really focused on living a peaceful, drama-free life with Nicola. They’ve built their own world together and are very happy with it. They want to let things settle down naturally rather than trying to fix something that still feels strained.”

Brooklyn and Peltz first had issues with their family in 2022 before and during their wedding. Peltz reportedly left her reception in tears after Marc Anthony called Victoria “the most beautiful woman in the room.”

In May 2025, the couple skipped David’s 50th birthday party. Brooklyn clarified what happened in her post, sharing that they still traveled to London for the event.
