Brooklyn Beckham is issuing a scathing rebuke from his parents, David Beckham i Victoria Beckhamclaiming he was “rejected” during his father’s 50th birthday celebration.
“My mom has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in a way that was clearly meant to make us both uncomfortable,” Brooklyn claimed in a multi-slide statement shared via his Instagram Stories on Monday, Jan. 19, further alleging that his parents “have tried endlessly to ruin my relationship” with his wife. “Despite that, we still traveled to London for my dad’s birthday and were turned away for a week while we waited in the hotel room trying to plan quality time with him,” Brooklyn continued. “He refused all our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras in every corner.”
Brooklyn further claimed: “When he finally agreed to see me, it was on the condition that Nicola wasn’t invited. It was a slap in the face. Later, when my family traveled to LA, they refused to see me at all.”

In May 2025, David marked the festive occasion with a party at London’s Core restaurant, where in photos obtained by Daily Mail at that time he was joined by his wife and children Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13. Romeo and Cruz’s respective girlfriends, Kim Turnbull i Jackie Apostleassistants have also been seen. Brooklyn and Nicola were noticeably absent from the photos.
Other guests included the actress Eva Longoriafamous chef Gordon Ramsayactor Tom Cruiseactress Ana de Armas and sports agent Dave Gardner.

“When I watch this video, I think, ‘Wow… how lucky I am!!'” Victoria wrote at the time, alongside a montage of family memories. “You are everything I could have dreamed of and more. Happy 50th @davidbeckham!!! I love you and our beautiful family to no end. You complete me.”
On Monday, Brooklyn further claimed that her parents only care about the so-called family brand.
“The Beckham brand comes first,” he alleged in his statement. “Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media or how quickly you drop everything to show up and post for a family photo, even if it comes at the expense of our professional obligations.”
He continued: “For years we’ve gone out of our way to show up and support every fashion show, every party and every press event to showcase ‘our perfect family!’ But the only time my wife asked for my mother’s support was to save the displaced dogs during the LA firesmy mother refused.”
Victoria and David’s estranged son also described his family’s social media posts as “performative”, claiming the family’s “inauthentic” relationships have been “an element of the life I was born into”.
“Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths they will go to put countless lies in the media, especially at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade,” he stated. “But I think the truth always comes out.”
