Limited internet access returned briefly in Iran before falling again, a monitor said on Sunday, 10 days after a communications blackout that rights groups said was aimed at covering up a crackdown on protests that have killed thousands of people. Demonstrations fueled by anger over economic hardship in late December turned into protests that are seen as the biggest challenge to Iran’s leadership in recent years.
