“Let’s see what happens if you include the box office of Scarlett’s husband’s movies,” Jost continued amusedly as the chart indicated a drop from $15.4 billion to $15.1 billion, which made Jost laugh.
“Did it fall?” he asked hilariously.

Jost, who married Johansson in October 2020 and shares a son, Cosmo, 4, with her, has shamelessly addressed his wife’s equally remarkable achievements through SNL jokes in the past (Johansson is also mother to daughter Rose, 11, who she shares with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac.)
During a December 2025 episode of the late-night comedy show, Jost’s Weekend Update coach, Michael CheJost wrote a joke this forced him to address his wife’s financial success. “New research shows that millions of women are leaving the workplace due to menopause, which means there’s only a couple of years left on my gravy train,” Jost said as he stifled his amusement and a photo of Johansson appeared on the screen. “My girl is already saying, ‘Colin, I’m hot. Colin, I’m sweating.” Bitch, you’re in pain, but don’t worry about me. I’ve got backup (because) they don’t call Wednesday ‘Hump Day’ for nothing.”
