Finn Wolfhard fired his Saturday night live hosting debut with a strange things cast meeting, and the tongue-in-cheek revelation that he’s ready to make “adult movies.”
“I know a lot of people still see me as a boy, but I’m 23 now. I’m proud to officially announce that I’m a man,” Wolfhard, 23, said during headquarters SNL monologue on Saturday January 17.
Wolfhard demonstrated his personal growth by having the SNL the cameraman zooms in on his only facial hair, before spitting his first taste of alcohol straight at the cast member Marcello Hernandezthe face of
“strange things it’s over and I’m no longer a child,” he declared.
The live studio was animated as Wolfhard strange things to cost Caleb McLaughlin i Gaten Matarazzo took to the stage to declare, “Neither do we!”
The trio asked viewers to stop referring to them as “child stars” because they are now officially “former child stars.”
“Whenever you read ‘former child star’ in a headline, it can only mean good things,” Matarazzo, 23, said.

The trio later starred in filmed Sex and the city-parody style of strange things where Mike (Wolfhard), Dustin (Matarazzo) and Lucas (McLaughlin) catch up on their love lives and Mike’s new cocaine habit in the 1990s. The sketch built up to Eleven’s miraculous return, though played by SNL‘s Kenan Thompson more than Millie Bobby Brown.

The series finale, “Chapter Eight: The Rightside Up,” left fans with many lingering questions, including whether Eleven’s hopeful story of Eleven living peacefully away from Hawkins was real or a fantasy.
Sadie Sink — who played Max Mayfield — offered a “hot take” during an appearance a The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 5 when he theorized that Eleven was indeed “dead”.
“I think Mike’s story is a final story,” Sink, 23, argued. “Then they say goodbye to childhood, but this is a final story. It’s a coping thing. It’s stronger (if Eleven died). That’s my take on it.”
His co-star Charlie Heaton – who played Jonathan Byers – explained exclusively Us Weekly on January 8 that he saw Mike’s story as a way of “coping” with the loss of Eleven.
“I love that about Mike, that’s what he’s telling us, you know, that’s coping, right?” Heaton, 31, mentioned we. “The stories we choose to believe and the versions of our reality we choose to believe to cope, and I think that’s really beautiful.”
Another major fan theory emerged with the release of the Netflix documentary One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5. A scene from the documentary showed the creators red i Matt Duffer organizing his ideas for the end in a Google Doc, even though there seemed to be a tab showing on the screen open to ChatGPT too
One last adventure director, Martina Radwanexplained later The Hollywood Reporter that she wasn’t “even sure they had ChatGPT open.”
“There’s a lot of chatter where (social media users) are saying, ‘We don’t really know, but we’re assuming. But for me, it’s like, doesn’t everyone have it open, to do a quick search? he pointed out
The filmmaker added: “No one has shown that it was open. It’s like having your iPhone next to your computer while you’re writing a story. We just use these tools … while multitasking. So there’s a lot going on all the time, every time.”
