Zachery Ty Bryanex girlfriend Johnny Cartwrightshe was nearly twice the legal limit when she was arrested in November for DUI, Us Weekly can exclusively disclose.
Cartwright, 32, “refused to provide a blood alcohol sample as requested,” the prosecutor told the judge at his sentencing on Wednesday, January 14.
After obtaining a search warrant, authorities drew her blood “about eight and a half hours” after a bystander called 911 to report a woman (Cartwright) trying to run over a male (Bryan) with his truck.
Police then discovered Cartwright’s BAC was 164%, “about twice the legal limit.”

He also pleaded guilty to reckless driving and a charge of recklessly endangering another person was dismissed.
During her sentencing, the prosecutor shared that Cartwright “had an odor of alcoholic beverage on her breath” on the day of her arrest and “made repetitive statements and fluctuated between being agitated and crying.”
Cartwright’s lawyer said his client was “extremely sorry” for his actions.
He also talked about Cartwright “tumultuous relationship” with Bryan44, and revealed that the two are no longer together.
“He had been convicted of domestic violence and is pending revocation of his leave to contact Ms. Cartwright at the time of this incident. He told her that his probation was completed and he was able to have contact with her,” the attorney said. “In my discussions with her, I let her know that really wasn’t the case. They have a tumultuous relationship. That’s the best way to sum it up. They share 3 young children and she’s quite dependent on him financially.”
On the day of the incident, Bryan was arrested for violating probation as a result of a prior assault conviction. He was released from police custody on 10 December 2025.
Cartwright was released from prison on December 3, 2025, but yes again in custody shortly after violating his probation.
Cartwright’s attorney gave the judge an update on his progress since he was re-released on Dec. 19, 2025.
“He lives with his mother and can still have custody of the children,” his lawyer stated in the sentencing. “He is also not drinking alcohol at this time, so he wants to continue his sobriety.”
Cartwright also spoke to the judge and appeared optimistic about his future.
“I’m just here to take responsibility,” he said, according to court audio. “Everything happens for a reason. Me and the girls are doing great, and I just hope to continue to keep the separation from dad.”
