The Ugandan army denies capturing opposition leader Bobby Wine during the vote count




The Ugandan army on Saturday rejected claims it had captured opposition leader Bobby Wine as the final part of the presidential vote count was underway. Vine said on Friday that he had been placed under house arrest, and his party later said he had been “forcefully taken” from his home in a military helicopter.
