At a given moment, Love Island USA stars Kaylor Martin i Liv Walker they had all the signs of being best friends forever.
After meeting on the Peacock reality show in 2024, both Kaylor and Liv found themselves single and ready to mingle when he left the town.
In fact, the fan favorites grew a bond that left fans wanting to see them on more reality shows.

A year after making their reality TV debut, both Kaylor and Liv found themselves back together Island of love: beyond the city. Their friendship, however, began to crumble with cameras documenting their every move.

“I had a best friend and someone who went through the same process as well, so it was great,” she explained on the Jan. 11, 2026 episode of iHeartRadio “casual chaos“Then when we went to L.A., we both got separate places and something happened with the camera situation that really hurt me because I’m not into white lies or anything like that. I’m just not like that.”
According to Kaylor, Liv allegedly lied about a camera that a brand sent that was supposed to be used by both of them for content opportunities.
Kaylor Martin and Liv Walker’s Feud Over Glam
When the couple agreed to film Island of love: beyond the city with her Season 6 co-stars, Kaylor asked Liv if she was glamming up.
“I don’t know what to wear,” he told the “Casual Chaos” podcast when recalling the first few days of filming. “Am I getting glamor in my hair and makeup? I don’t know what a first-time-on-a-show vibe you get.”
According to Kaylor, Liv said she didn’t get glamorous, but she arrived looking professionally done.
“It’s not that serious anymore. Let’s move on,” Kaylor said on the podcast. “But then we argued on the show, obviously, because things were happening.”
Kaylor Martin remembers watching ‘Love Island: Beyond the Villa’ again
While filming a reality show is hard enough, reliving the scenes can be even more complicated, according to Kaylor.
“I’ll watch things and clips that I didn’t know actually happened, or I’ll watch myself again in a vulnerable state and it brings it back,” she explained. “I really believe that everything happens for a reason. I’m very happy. I have my friends from my hometown who are my best friends that I’ve had in my whole life. I’m fine.”
Kaylor said she wished Liv the best and “will always have a lot of love for her, but overall, it’s done.”
They received a text message and found love in the Love Island USA villa. Kaylor Martin and Liv Walker reunite in Las Vegas
In August 2025, Kaylor and Liv met at the “Unwell Vegas” event hosted by Alex Cooper.
“We met in person and talked,” Kaylor shared on the “Casual Chaos” podcast. “But other than that, we don’t text.”
Kaylor described their current relationship status as “cordial,” but they don’t even interact on each other’s social media pages.
“We’re just ghost followers at this point,” he added. “I don’t talk to her at all.”
