28 years later: The temple of bones is putting together the pieces of the horror franchise story that began over two decades ago.
The horror sequel is the fourth film of the 28 days later universe, which he initially starred in Cillian Murphy. Temple of Bones serves as a sequel to 2025 28 years later, and the two films were shot back to back.
Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, Erin Kellyman i Chi Lewis-Parry stars in the film, which picks up where it left off 28 years later. Spike (Williams) is now in quarantine amid the outbreak of the zombie virus and eventually recruits him to join the Fingers gang. The group is led by the charismatic Sir Lord Jimmy Crystal (O’Connell) who survived the events of the previous film.

How does “28 Years Later: Temple of Bones” end?
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple ends with Cillian Murphy reprising his role as Jim from the first film, 28 Days Later. (Murphy’s involvement in the project was previously confirmed before the film’s release.)
In the end, fans see how Jim survived after the events of 28 days later. He can be seen with his daughter Sam in the same cottage as his love interest Selena (Naomi Harris) and young Hannah (Megan Burns) was withdrawn in the first film. (It’s unclear if Selena and Hannah survived since their characters don’t appear in the scene, but Sam bears a resemblance to Selena.)
As the father-daughter duo gather around a kitchen table, Jim is giving Sam a lesson on World War II. While discussing the historic event, Jim talks about how important it is to learn from the mistakes made in history. Later, they are warned that a potential group of infected is headed their way.
As they prepare for battle, they see the zombies chasing Spike and a woman named Kelly (Erin Kellyman), who survived the Fingers gang. Sam asks his father if they will help the couple. In January 2025, it was announced that there would be a fifth film Danny Boyle confirming that he would direct again. Alex Garland he will also rewrite the script. The film’s name, cast and other additional details are yet to be revealed.
