The head of the CIA traveled to Venezuela and met with the country’s interim leader, Delsey Rodriguez, for about two hours, a US official said on Friday. The visit by a senior US official has been called a “confidence-building measure” following the January 3 shock ouster of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
