US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he had formed a “peace committee” in Gaza, part of the second phase of a US-backed plan to end the war in the Palestinian territory. Trump said the members would soon be announced and that the body would be overseen by the Palestinian technocratic committee that governs post-war Gaza.
