The first Netflix original video podcast featuring Pete Davidson and Michael Irvin


Netflix is ​​increasing its investment in video podcastswith the latest project featuring famous comedian Pete Davidson and Cowboys Hall-of-Famer Michael Irvin.

The two series, available only to Netflix subscribers, are designed to capitalize on their host’s star power. Davidson’s show will feature candid, behind-the-scenes conversations with friends from his own garage, aired every Friday, while Irvin’s show will deliver in-depth sports news, analysis, and commentary twice a week, joined by notable guest co-hosts like former NFL All-Pro wide receiver Brandon Marshall.

This original will join Netflix’s many video podcasts, along with titles licensed from iHeartMedia, Spotifyand Barstool Sports such as “Dear Chelsea,” “My Favorite Murder,” and “The Ringer.” In particular, as part of the license agreement, the show is not available in its entirety on YouTube.

Wednesday’s news comes as Netflix increasingly tries to challenge YouTube’s dominance in the podcast space, with viewers watching. over 700 million hours monthly podcasts on living room devices in 2025.
