“We can’t take this dress off,” Silverstone, 49, said in footage shared via Instagram on Friday, January 9. “What do we do? I’ve got Bear and Bear’s dad trying to help me get this dress off, and I can’t get it off.”
Silverstone and Christopher Jarecki they were married from 2005 to 2018, during which time welcomed their son, Bear. The exes are now friendly co-parents with their 14-year-old son, even living in the same neighborhood.
According to the clueless actress, called Jarecki, 49, for help when she returned home from the awards ceremony earlier this month.
“He’s got a big ass,” Jarecki joked, making Silverstone laugh. “She has a really big ass.”
Silverstone wore a strapless, form-fitting silver Stella McCartney dress Critics Choice Awardswhich she paired with jewelry from Le Vian Jewelry and A. Jaffe.
The actress had attended the Critics Choice Awards 2026 in support of her film bugonia, which earned three nominations.

Silverstone balances her still thriving acting career with raising Bear alongside Jarecki.
“I’m so lucky that we have a good … that we’re so good at co-parenting,” she. explained exclusively Us Weekly in November 2018. “We both see (our son) Bear, unless I’m out of the picture where he can’t be there, but he usually comes with me anyway.”
According to Silverstone, she and Jarecki “literally communicate every day” about Bear’s schedule and best interests.
“There’s no way to tell anybody how to make their relationship work or their thing work. It just works for us,” she said at the time. “We both love our son, right? We both want to be with our son and we both love each other too.”

Three years later, Silverstone gave us an update on Bear’s hobbies.
“He’s happy to do a bunch of other things, so we’ll see.” she said we in 2021noting that his only son was not interested in following in his acting footsteps. “But right now, it’s not on his mind.”
Although Bear showed no passion for acting, he was a fan of some of his mother’s most famous roles.
