ancient Dancing with the stars troop member Stephan Sosa has shared his story controversial weight loss drug Ozempic.
“People have asked me if I’m in Ozempic, (and) I was in Ozempic when I was doing Dancing with the stars last season,” Sosa, 26 years old, said in a Saturday, January 10, video shared via TikTok. “(I) just wanted to look my best (possible). It was my first time living my dream on camera, and I just wanted it to be perfect.”
Stephani, the partner’s older sister DWTS pro Ezra Sosa, worked as a group dancer during the show’s 33rd season in the fall of 2024.
“I was in Ozempic, (but) right now I’m out of it,” Stephani explained on Saturday. “I feel like my body has handled it really well. I was on it for a long time before I moved on dancing with the stars too.”

Semaglutides such as Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro are often used to manage chronic weight in obese or overweight adults with a weight-related condition, including high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes. Doctors, however, often warn people and celebrities against the use of GLP-1 for occasional weight loss.
As for Stephani, she has previously been open about her body image and even underwent 360 liposuction to help “completely transform (her) body.”
“I just wanted to get my body in shape and it’s been really hard my whole life trying to get the body I’ve always wanted,” Stephani shared in a December 2024 post. TikTok video “I wanted to do it for me and for my career. I was so sick of the industry telling me what my body should look like (and) I was so over it and I had to do it for me. So I did it.”
After undergoing the procedure, Stephani has continued to exercise regularly and eat “relatively clean.”

“My body completely changed, so it was a combination of that, having a personal trainer and eating relatively clean,” she concluded. “It was the best decision I ever made, I feel like it changed my life (and also) my confidence, my happiness.”
