Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi is working to slim down as she begins a new year on reality TV.
“I cut down on the amount of weed I was buying. I’d say it’s under $3,000 a month now,” GG, 44, shared exclusively with Us Weekly before Thursday, January 8, premiere of the series of The valley: Persian style. “I rely on cannabis for my health. I rely on it for psychological calm, for many things, and I’m okay with that. It’s a natural substance.”

During the first few episodes of Bravo’s new reality show, GG got into the hot seat about her finances and her need to downsize.

When I heard how much I was spending, when I said it out loud, because I had to do the math in my brain about how much I was spending, I was like, ‘Oh, wow,'” GG said. we. “I can have another completely different mortgage if I wanted to. That was nice to hear.”
In a unique way, GG, who made her reality TV debut Shahs of the sunset in 2012, she argued that being on a reality show is the best therapy.
“You hear yourself or you look at yourself and you’re like, ‘Oh, my God.’ I just didn’t expect my credit and stuff to come up,” she said. “When I hired pray (appears) to be my agent, I didn’t think my credit would be a topic of discussion in a friend’s group of people. These are all my friends.”
While The valley: Persian style promises plenty of drama among GG’s group of friends, she’s excited to shoot with some of her closest friends again after Shahs of the sunset said goodbye in 2021.
“Reza and I became really close. I feel like as soon as the cameras rolled, we had no excuse to force a friendship and we became friends naturally,” GG said. “We started traveling and doing so many fun things together.”
While GG may still have her ups and downs with MJ, the past few years have been a positive change.
“She’s definitely coming out of that shell,” GG teased, “and getting back to herself and her friendships and all that.”
