“I love this group!” Fedotowsky responded as Davidson replied, “So thankful for this mom, Village! And the fact that we’ve been doing this together is so incredibly special ❤️❤️🙌🏻 Oh how I miss you, too!”
Earlier this week, the Frenchman went viral for an essay he wrote for the cut titled, “Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group.” In the piece, Tisdale French stated that she began to feel personally excluded from the group over time.
“I remember being left out of a couple of group uploads and I knew about it because Instagram made sure to feed me every Instagram photo and story,” she wrote. “I was starting to feel frozen out of the group, noticing all the ways they seemed to exclude me… I told myself it was all in my head, and it wasn’t a big deal. Still, I could feel a growing distance between me and the other members of the group, who didn’t seem to care that I wasn’t around much.”
French stated that the dynamic felt “too secondary” to her.
“To be clear, I’ve never considered moms to be bad people. (Maybe one.) But I think our group dynamic stopped being healthy and positive, for me, anyway,” she added.
The French was famous part of the group which included Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, Meghan Trainor and more After French’s essay went viral, Duff’s husband, Matthew Butdirected the Musical Baccalaureate the star article parodying it.
“A group of moms tell it through the eyes of a dad,” Koma, 38, wrote via his Instagram story on Tuesday, January 6, alongside a photo of him recreating French’s pose. “When you’re the most tone-obsessed deaf person on earth, other moms tend to focus on their little ones.”
While Moore, 41, and Duff, 38, have not publicly addressed French’s essay, a source exclusively said. Us Weekly the group was surprised.
“Everyone feels blindsided and hurt because Ashley is speaking out the way she did,” the source explained. “From their perspective, they believed the group was supportive and coming from a good place, and they never thought there was any bad intent behind the way things went.”
Trainor, meanwhile, broke his silence about French’s claims in a TikTok video on Thursday. .
“I found out about the apparent mom group drama,” Trainor, 32, wrote alongside a video of her sitting at a desk typing on a computer, which was set to her new song “Still Don’t Care.”
