Travel influencer Kevin Droniak addresses her followers asking if she is faking her vacation on her own.
“I never thought I would have to make this video, but when my integrity is being questioned, I have to speak up,” Droniak said via Instagram on Wednesday, January 7. “There’s a rumor going around that I’m faking my day trips, and I’m flattered because that means you think I’m sane enough to go places for more than a day. But no, I’m actually in Japan right now just for the day, and I’ve got the receipts for you.”
Droniak, who has more than 313,000 followers on Instagram, she shared her boarding pass and passport stamps to showcase her recent travels.
“The list goes on. So if you have any other doubts, let me know. I’ll disprove them,” Droniak said, before getting up from the video to board his flight. “I just have to add, I don’t blame you for thinking this is fake because whoever is in their right frame of mind goes to Japan just for the day. But I’m clearly not in my right frame of mind and I’m very glad because this frame of mind is so much fun.”
Droniak captioned the video: “I’m flattered, but here are some receipts too. 😉.”
In the comments section of his video, Droniak’s followers shared a message of support.
“You really didn’t need to prove 😍 we trust you!” one user wrote, while another added: “Keep doing your thing!!!! We enjoy all your daily adventures. 🌎✈️🌎✈️.” A third wrote: “Absolutely love your spirit! I’m always debating booking a trip from NJ to Orlando for the day to go to Disney and I always think of you. I always think, ‘If Kevin can do it, so can I.’ “
Droniak’s video comes weeks after he shared one summary of the most distant excursions took 2025, which included traveling to Tokyo for 27 hours to spend 18 hours “on the ground”. Droniak also noted that he flew on the plane for 26 hours to spend 13 hours in Nairobi, Kenya, with similar trips to Cairo, Egypt, Athens, Greece and more destinations.
“No one else in their right mind does this, but I travel the world ONE day at a time,” she captioned in December 2025. Instagram publication “As in: I left New York, landed in a new country, explored and came home at night. I did this almost every week in 2025 and here are my farthest day trips. This year has been so surreal and so many tears of joy have been shed. Thanks for following along, many more chaotic trips to come in the new year. ✈️.”
In a separate video filmed in the Dominican Republic, Droniak admitted that what he does is “not normal.”
“This is very confusing for the average person and let me tell you why (I do it),” he said in December 2025. Instagram video “The first is that I’m addicted to it, okay? I love sleeping in my own bed, which is another reason. I also save all the money I was going to spend on a hotel, so travel is much more affordable. Today I don’t spend anything more than the flight, and it feels really good to save money for me. Call me cheap.”
Droniak explained that he likes not having to pack for his vacations, while he also tends to travel for shorter periods of time to spend time with his grandmother at home.
“I’ve never experienced anything in life that feels more like a dream while you’re awake,” he concluded. “I’m just looking at this view right now and it’s hard for my mind to fathom that today I woke up in my apartment in New York City and today I’m going to sleep in my apartment in New York City. It brings me so much joy to take these day trips and share it with you.”
