Mikayla Matthews she said goodbye to her chubby pout.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Women star, 25, shared it it dissolved the rest of the lip filler to help your immune system. Matthews took his fans along for the ride through TikTok on Monday, Jan. 5, sharing, “It’s been a while since I dissolved them and I haven’t gotten filler since, but there’s still a little bit (of filler) up here and a little bit here.” He pointed to the cupid’s bow and lower lip.
“Every time I get hives, it’s usually on my lips,” Matthews said to his injector as his pout was numbed. “My lips are very swollen.”
She continued, “My lips are always very swollen because of my health and allergies, but I just want to dissolve what’s in there so my immune system doesn’t freak out.”
The reality star, who has been open about her struggle with the chronic illness, later shared that she was put on laughing gas before the solvent went in. “That helps a lot.”
Then the injector went in with the solvent, causing Matthews’ eyes to water in pain. “Never do anything without laughing gas,” he advised his followers as he left the office.
She then shared her look “straight after” dissolving the filler, showing that her lips were a little puffy.

Matthews then cut the camera to show the progress “a few hours later”.
“I feel like the swelling has gone down,” he said. “The numbness is gone, so it feels cold,” he described. The next day, Matthews revisited his fans and showed off the “little bruises” he was experiencing on his upper and lower lip.
Two days later, Matthews was candid about how “weird” her lips felt without any filler. “Overall, I love the results. I think it looks great.”
In her final clip, Matthews showed off her pout completely dissolved with just a touch of lip liner and gloss.
“Thanks for coming with me 💅🏼 @Rise Rejuvenation Center is who I trust. I think @traciandreason_np gives me the laughing gas so I spill all the tea 🥰☕️,” she captioned the post. Her followers supported her in the comments section.
“Girl… I love the embrace of shorter hair, the fill dissolves and the frankness of your skin fights. This is what we need to see more of on social media these days! You are beautiful 💕,” said one. A second commented: “You look amazing 🤩,” while a third wrote: “Oh my god! You’re glowing!!!”
In September 2024, Matthews exclusively open to Us Weekly about his chronic illness, sharing that he still hadn’t “found an answer.”
“I’m still doing more tests. I had a biopsy yesterday. I’m going to a cancer institute and getting tested for different blood cancers,” she said. Matthews continued: “I’m a lot better than I was, but I still have my ups and downs, so it’s frustrating not getting any answers and feeling like I’m alone and then having to navigate this really exciting time not feeling my best. And that’s been the hardest part.”
