In the years since her tenure at the Mouse House ended, Tisdale French has been rethinking her career while balancing motherhood.
Tisdale French married her husband, Christopher Frenchin 2014, almost seven years before welcoming daughter Jupiter. The couple’s second daughter, Emerson, completed their family in 2024.
“(With) your first (baby), you really have no idea what it’s going to entail and what it looks like and how to do things,” Tisdale French explained exclusively Us Weekly in March 2025. “And you’re really nervous… With the second one, you feel a lot more confident.”
He continued, “To be able to have that experience again and to have it in such a great way and to be so present, it makes me love every moment.”

“I prepared completely,” the actress explained exclusively we in June 2025. “I feel like you need an area, to be honest. I remember us saying, ‘Okay, the playroom is the area where you just take off your diaper and you’re like, OK. You really have to tell us when you have to go.’ Because it’s them learning how it feels to go to the bathroom.”
According to Tisdale French, she “really prepared” by fixing towels everywhere in case Emerson had an accident.
“We rolled the carpet and you know it’s going to be a little crazy for a minute,” he explained. “We tried it before (when) it might have been a little too soon (for her) and it wasn’t that easy. But when they’re ready, it’s a lot easier than expected.”
Tisdale French further emphasized that it was easy to teach Emerson how to use the toilet because his older sister was already doing the task.
“(Younger kids) just want to be like (their older siblings),” she said we “I feel like we’ve really spent the shortest amount of time crawling. I think (Emerson) crawled for maybe two weeks and then all of a sudden she’s standing and wants to walk, and it’s really early. I feel like she wants to try to walk, but I think it’s because she sees Jupiter walking all over the place. . . . She looks like she’s going to do it all fast.”
Make – And Leave – Mother’s Friends
After welcoming Jupiter in 2021, Tisdale French befriended other famous moms, including Hilary Duff, Meghan Trainor i Mandy Moore. Their connections likely fell apart after Tisdale French claimed in January 2026 that she left her “toxic” group of friends.
“I remember being left out of a couple of group uploads and I knew because Instagram made sure to feed me every Instagram photo and story,” Tisdale French he wrote in a viral essay for New York magazine the cut. “I was starting to feel frozen out of the group, noticing all the ways they seemed to exclude me… I told myself it was all in my head, and it wasn’t a big deal. Still, I could feel a growing distance between me and the other members of the group, who didn’t seem to care that I wasn’t around much.”
Tisdale French did not name either mother in her essay, although Duff’s husband, Matthew But, he apparently applauded.
“A group of moms tells everything through the eyes of a dad,” Koma wrote via her Instagram stories, pretending to write a similar essay. “When you’re the deafest, most self-obsessed person on earth, other moms tend to focus on their little kids.”
Tisdale French did not immediately respond to Koma’s allegations.
New Career
Tisdale French launched her skincare line Being Frenshe in 2022, naming the collection after her married name.
“I’ve always had a passion for self-love and all things beauty and wellness,” she wrote via the brand. web site. “During my own mental health and wellness journey, I found that introducing fragrance into my daily rituals greatly influenced my mood, whether it was to keep me grounded and calm or to celebrate my confidence and joy.”
Being Frenshe by Tisdale French sells a collection of wellness essentials to “nourish your well-being” with clean ingredients.
“Each offering is consciously formulated with clean ingredients and rooted in the emotional power of scent, so feeling good is as simple as breathing,” the website description reads. “My hope is that these products will support your own self-care rituals and encourage you to take a moment to breathe for yourself.
Tisdale French also has a passion for home decor, which she leveraged to create a line of Frenshe Interiors rugs.
The former Disney Channel star is still acting as well, recently reprising her voice-over role as Candace Flynn on the network’s revived season. Phineas and Ferb in 2025.
Changing your name
Tisdale French revealed in November 2025 that now professionally plans to go by her maiden name.
“I finally launched ‘By Ashley French,'” she explained in an Instagram video, announcing her lifestyle blog. “It’s never been this intimate before, but I have so much to talk about, especially now in my 40s, having my kids, being a dad, running a company.”
Although Tisdale French had been using her husband’s last name for years, she never officially changed her nickname.
“I never really changed publicly because everyone knows me as Ashley Tisdale,” she said. “I felt it was time for people to know me for me and not just for a character or a celebrity… We have to be honest, at this point, you don’t know what’s real, what’s a bot, and everyone has something to say, and maybe it’s not positive. It’s not that I want to block negativity, it felt like to protect my peace, I didn’t want to keep sharing like that.”
